A stone’s throw from the water`s edge and with a small public beach nearby, you`ve found your idyllic retreat. With the fully equipped kitchen, you can dine at home or enjoy nearby dining options on Basti or Isla Colon.
The space
The home is tropically designed with an open floor plan. There are 2 entrances to the home.
The kitchen is equipped with all modern appliances including a refrigerator, freezer, hot water heater, charcoal filter for drinking water as well as kitchen utensils, pots, pans, dishes, glasses and silverware.
There is also a massage table for your use.
Guest access
As there are no cars on the island, you will be traveling on foot everywhere so you may expect to get a fair amount of exercise. There is one main path along the shoreline which is `maintained` subject to the moods of Mother Nature.

The house is very spacious, safe and in a great location. Right by the ocean and far from the noise of the town but still convenient. The terrace is beautiful and you can watch gorgeous sunsets from there. The wifi also worked quite well so I was able to work without any hick-ups. Melanie gave me a lot of recommendations and was supportive during my stay. It’s better to book tours with people she recommends than with random tours from bocas. There were some constructions happening on the property while I was there so it was sadly less private and quiet than it would have usually been. But Melanie communicated with the workers and tried to make sure that it was as quiet as possible for me.
Melanie is a great host! Her home was perfect for my stay. It allowed to get the real feel for living in the Bocas Islands! It’s private and quiet. Going to sleep of the sound of the waves rolling across the rocks was beyond a treat! I would definitely stay again! I love that she has a keypad system to enter her home, I personally love going keyless.. one less thing to worry about going out! Thanks again for everything!
