Had the best time at Palmer for our Panama vacation :) From the moment we arrived the staff was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect time. The bar and food is reasonable, delicious, and comes with quick service. We couldn’t have been happier. Special shout out to Jimmy, Rae, and Sahara, they’re the best

What an amazing place! We stayed in a beach cabana with fan, and it was perfect. We could hear the waves crashing at night and got a good breeze in the cabana so that we didn’t need AC. The staff are incredibly fun and kind- shout out to Gloria and Janeika. They took great care of us! It was nice that they provided a lifeguard at their beach, we always felt safe. We also had cleaning staff come in daily to make our bed and sweep. Free water. Good wifi. Highly recommend this place!

We enjoyed our stay at Palmar. We stayed in a dorm room; the beds were comfy and hardly any bugs inside. The daily activities were fun (e.g. bonfire and beach volleybal). Some improvements can be made at the restaurant. The food was good, however at times our drinks didn't show up and people were waiting quite a long time before they were noticed by the staff. Also, some menu items were marked as vegan but upon asking they apparently had cheese with lactose. So be careful if you order vegan for allergy reasons.

Very expensive hotel with „open“ rooms. All reptiles and insects are welcome to sleep with you because the nets are old and broken. Restaurant service was not friendly and de-motivated at the lunch time. For check-in the personal was not welcoming and let us wait without a clear reasoning for over 10 minutes. Atmosphere in the evening is good.

The property is quite nice, staff is mostly friendly - especially Jimmy :) and the food is really good. But there seem to be some serious management problems. f.i. When you include your breakfast for 7$ p.p. you get only coffee, tea and one plate to chose from the breakfast menu. Which is super ridiculous, because when you are at such a beautiful beach on holiday you want to enjoy your breakfast time and don't think of what you might be allowed to order (f.i. if you only order 1 fruit bowl and 1 cup of coffee it would only cost you 5$ instead of 7$). I would recommend the management to train the staff concerning emotional intelligence (sensitivity) and please give them more power to make own decisions. So guests might feel more welcomed and better hosted.
