My husband and I had the BEST experience at Sol Bungalows, and we have no doubt we will be back. From the minute you plan your trip with them, your hosts Drew and Tamara do everything they can to ensure that you have the best Bocas Del Toro experience possible. And they succeed. They listened to the activities, tours, and experiences we were interested in and then took care of lining up everything, which was incredibly convenient and helpful. We highly recommend listening to their personal recommendations on which activities to try – they absolutely know the best local guides! The bungalows are adorable, comfortable, and affordable. We loved having our own private space with ocean access and a deck to lounge out on. There is abundant snorkeling right around the bungalow and the island you stay on. The location is perfect as it is super easy and fast to get anywhere else you need to go. The food alone is worth staying here for; every meal we had was DELICIOUS, and they were more than willing to accommodate food allergies. The only thing I regret is not making time for a massage! Do not hesitate to book this as your next place to stay.
Wow. Sol Bungalows is truly the best. Drew was extremely helpful from the moment I booked their property! When it came to just general knowledge of the area, the bungalow itself, activities, he was the best. Tamara also was wonderful!! The food was INSANELY delicious, (especially their homemade brownie made with organic chocolate!) I highly recommend staying for dinner. If our flight was able to be changed, we 100% would of extended our stay!!! Don’t look anywhere else, Sol Bungalows deserves more than 5 stars. I hope to be back one day, and for definitely longer than our original stay!!!
They deserve more than 5 stars! Cannot recommend this place enough. As everyone mentions, Drew and Tamara are incredible. They go above and beyond for you starting when you arrive on the boat. The bungalows themselves are luxurious... Both indoor and outdoor spaces definitely make you never want to leave. Plus they are stocked with everything- snorkels, noodles for floating in the ocean, ear plugs, a hammock. They thought of all the best details. Also recommend treating yourself to an in-bungalow massage! The food is delicious. 5++++ stars all around. Can't wait to come back SOON!!!!
Sol Bungalows is simply the BEST place to stay in Bocas Del Toro. As the boat approached then property, we were treated to an amazing view, two thatched roof bungalow’s with a huge decks and stairs down to the water and a two-story dock with swings downstairs and a dining area upstairs. The room was amazing, the king-sized bedroom was separated from a full sized seating area by cool, sliding barn door. Great ceiling fans, lighting and plenty of electrical outlets. Great, super clean bathroom with a huge walk-in shower with great water pressure. This place is fantastic! 8 minute boat road from Bocas Town and close to the best surf break. The hosts were awesome!! Responsive, helpful and very accommodating. Great breakfast every morning with French-pressed coffee, and for dinner the best food on the islands. And they have paddle-boards, snorkeling masks, and help arrange water taxis. We stayed 5 days and we’re sad to leave. Definitely staying here again on our next trip.
Our stay at Sol Bungalows was by far the highlight of our trip to Panama. The bungalow was beautiful, modern, and clean. The views from the bungalow were amazing (and you can swim and snorkel directly off the private dock from your bungalow!) The food was delicious, fresh, and creative. Last but definitely not least, customer service was top-notch, with our host Drew going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and more. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We are frequent international travelers, and this was easily one of our top 3 lodging experiences of all time. Would highly recommend staying here.
