I used their services to go around the islands. They always arrive fast and are reliable. Last time I called in a ride, I got to ride the jetski back since I was by myself! Really fun! Thanks Josiah!

Fun day in the water. Saw dolphins (though I wish the boats didn’t go quite so close to them), starfish, a beautiful beach and went snorkeling. Looked for sloths but they are hard to see as they sleep all day. Lost a star for a disorganized very late start, and the lunch pace was so busy our group opted to skip it.

We had a great trip with a friendly guide. Many islands seen and had sufficient stay. I can recommend it to anyone.

Josiah and his brother are the best water taxi service in Bocas. We stayed in Bocas for a month and used them everyday. Rain or shine they were there for us. They picked us up in Basti during a bad storm and got us back to town to the airport in time for our flight. They kept all of our bags dry. These are the safest drivers we have found there. They brought us back to bastimentos late nights with no problems at all. Always a smooth ride. Other drivers may take advantage of tourists but not these guys. They are as fair as it gets. Josiah will always be our go to water taxi when in Bocas!

Did a $35 per person day tour that included seeing dolphins, seeing sloths, caye zapitillo, snorkelling, and “the walk of stars” starfish. First off started way later than expected. We were waiting for the boat at 0930 and it didn’t show up until almost 1030. They then took us to another dock and dumped us out where we waited for another 20 min before finally heading out. There are no kids life jackets. If you want one you can get one at the local Toto. Boat ride out was good. Ended up seeing a lot of dolphins. I felt the tour boats were getting too close to the dolphins and were trying to circle them. We then headed to Caye Zapitillo for a two hour beach stop. We were supposed to “order” lunch on the way out there but the lunch stop was insanely busy. Our hotel had recommended we bring our own lunch because I guess this happens all the time and the lunch is supposedly way overpriced for what you get. We stopped at the walk of stars which as advertised is a mangrove island surrounded by a shallow area with a lot of starfish. The island beach is gorgeous. We were on zapatillo 2 which is about 2.5 km in circumference. You can walk the entire thing but I would recommend taking some footwear for some short sections off the beach. At the far end of the island is a turtle rescue research Center but it’s pretty run down. While in the island they supply a couple of beers/sodas. On the way back we again tried to get lunch but it was still too busy. We also tried to see sloths ???? but didn’t have much luck. We then went snorkelling. The snorkelling is really subpar. There are a few fish but virtually no reef to speak of. The mask and snorkel equipment was lying in the bilge water in the bottom of the boat that really didn’t make it enticing to put on your face/stick in your mouth. Got back to our dock about 1730. All in all though we had a good day and I would say we got our money’s worth. Didn’t live up to expectations though. If we hadn’t brought our own lunch we would’ve had some very upset kids/parents. Pros: Boat was covered Got to see dolphins Kids had fun Cons: Everything was running on bocas time Lunch was a mess Wasn’t super happy about how the boats were zooming around the dolphins ????
