The place is beautiful but the price-performance ratio (water bungalow) is very poor: - The facility is not well kept and maintained. - The water bungalow was not clean. We filled out a feedback about this already on the first day, to which we unfortunately got no response. - The food in the restaurant is not good and the selection is poor (in addition, you have to register and decide already at 17:00 what you want to eat in the evening). In addition, there is always a long wait for orders, even if you only order a beer. - There are stand-up boards but no paddles (the ones they have are much too short).
Rooms are really nice. Breakfast is simple and good, with lots of variety. Tours are great. Lots of snorkeling opps and beautiful beaches to go. Alejandro is actually the only certified tourist guide in Bocas.
We stayed in one of the bungalows and loved every bit of it. Breakfast served directly to your room. The jungle path is beautiful. Paddle boards, kayaks, and snorkeling gear available to use whenever you want.
