Wonderful stay at Island Plantation! I can't express how much we loved our stay. The exceptional level of service began before we even arrived. Herolf was always responsive answering any questions prior to our booking and we knew this was an indication of what was in store for our stay.The staff ensured a smooth arrival by arranging our taxi service from the airport to ip (Bosco was professional extremely reliable). Once we arrived at the resort we received a warm welcome by Choco who was very attentive throughout our stay. Our room (starfish) was beautiful! We slept to the soothing sounds of the jungle and the crashing of the pounding waves. Breakfast is included and it was delicious. BOM BOM was great food and drinks. Jessie was our server and was such a delight to see and chat with every day. The beach was incredible....miles of unspoiled beach. Even when it rained we took advantage of the hiking paths and pool...oh yeah how could I leave out the beautiful pool. The property is off the beaten path (literally) yet so much to see and experience. I can't say enough about how pleasant the owners were. They made you feel like you were old friends and treated us like we were their guests. Thank you Island Plantation for making our trip an unforgettable experience that we continue to rave about. Can't wait to plan our return!
We loved our short stay at Island Plantation in the beachfront casita. The whole property is a work of art with care and attention given to every corner and from every view. The beach is gorgeous!! Beautiful rose gold soft sand. Though at some times of the year it is not swimmable, we enjoyed perfect conditions. The casita was clearly built using a designer’s eye. My teenage son was able to sleep on a mattress set up on the 2nd floor. My original booking was disrupted due to the pandemic, and the owner, Herolf, graciously cancelled the booking for me. It was so great to meet him and see his beautiful smile which comes through in all communications. Such a lovely host. I highly recommend, and will be back.
I had a great time. Lovely resort, friendly staff and amazing nature around. The only down-side is that the WiFi is unstable at times, which may be problematic for those needing to connect for work purposes. However, altogether, a very pleasant stay.
