We visited Red frog beach for the day and came across this fabulous little bar restaurant just behind the trees. It is out of the way and in a shaded area but still in sight of the sea. We had the local stewed chicken plate. It included the stewed chicken, coconut rice an a small salad. The chicken was cooked excellently and was just falling off the bone. The rice and salad were a great compliment. We also got drinks from the bar. This has a full bar sout can order what you like. The servers were all great especially the one behind the bar.
Best. Beach. Tacos. Ever. Their chicken tacos are amazing… great flavor… especially with the creamy chipotle sauce added. Definitely stop by here for a few, some cold cerveza, and enjoy the view.
Tacos are excellent, reminiscent of those we had in Mexico. Real pieces of fried fish fillet with pineapple salad and sauce. However the deditos de pescado (fish fingers with chips) were awful as they had pangaseus fish (no bite, sloppy texture, slimy with no flavour). The “ceviche” was inedible. Overall high prices, but beautiful setting on the beach. Would only recommend the tacos
