What a beauty. Cheap & cheerful, my favourite kind of place. Truly in love with the pepper sauce (it tastes like a mild scotch bonnet sauce with mild mustard undertones), it is a masterpiece to the senses. Bigger portions than I can eat, but hey, now I’ve got dinner covered, too. Lovely waitstaff, friendly and efficiently quick. There is a wonderful view, we even saw dolphins!! Crazy. Definitely would recommend. Oh, also you get free juice (sweet lemonade). Obviously, you should still get beer, but it’s also good to stay hydrated, my friends.
This is a great place to have a good local meal at local pricing. Service was fast and prompt. The view from the outside dining area is really beautiful. You can watch the day boat tours leaving. I had the local stewed chicken dish and it was super tender. The drinks are also at local pricing. There was a mix of tourist and locals at Tom's this morning. This is a must go. It is only 3 or 4 blocks from the airport, so it can be your first meal here or the one you get before your fight out. Follow the sign to the back, today it looked like a construction site but just keep going back and it is upstairs.
This is one of the few autentic local restaurants that we are fortunate enough to still have. A place where you can still listen to the Caribbean music, fantastic view, delicious food, affordable price, friendly atmosphere. Well the list go on and on.
A very local menu with a fabulous view of the water. The veggie plate was a nice vegan treat. Hubby had a whole fish that was huge!
The food here is outstanding. A small and straight to the point menu with entire meals ranging from 5-7 dollars. This is my go to spot for ceviche (it's mostly corvina). Last time we could see dolphins playing in the water. Oh, and beer is 1.25, or was it 1.50. Regardless, very nice.
